Ohio University offers both a Professional MBA and an on-line MBA. Both programs are part-time and designed for the working professional that has at least three years of professional experience.
The OHIO PMBA is a part-time M.B.A. program designed to meet the needs of emerging business leaders, non-managers moving into managerial roles, and individuals whose careers are in transition. A class and residency schedule that recognizes the multiple demands of working professionals allows students to remain fully employed while earning their MBA degree in less than two years. Most of the program is offered on-line through virtual classes and on-line modules with one in-person Saturday residency each month. Other features include:
- Location – we offer the once-a-month Saturday residencies at our Pickerington Center (minutes from Columbus) and Athens campus
- A cohort program with a set structure that guarantees you’ll be able to finish on time and in only twenty months.
- AACSB International accreditation – the most respected and highly recognized accrediting body for business programs in the world.
The OHIO on-line MBA offers courses that are fully online through virtual classes and on-line modules with one required on-campus Professional Development Workshop. Two additional weekend workshops are available optionally for those who wish to pursue them. The program can be completed in as few as two years and culminates with a capstone simulation experience. Students may select from one of three concentrations in finance, health care, and executive management. Each concentration allows the student to customize an MBA to more closely meet career goals.
